Graham Bell, Thomas Alva Edison, Nikola Tesla, Henry Ford, Wright Brothers and Albert Einstein lived in a window of 100 years between 1850 and 1950. It took just one generation of such great thinkers to make their country a global Innovation Hub.
After Hiroshima and Nagasaki, when a country was forgotten from the world map, it took just one generation of effective citizens to be able to be able to re-establish their country as a dominant Economic Superpower.
The idea of Sri Shakthi International School (SSIS) was born out of this insight that as India approaches its 75 years of Independence we need to groom a generation of higher order thinkers and effective citizens to be able to re-establish our country’s economic dominance that was lost due to centuries of foreign invasion and to post independence politics. We also believe that the Idea of a truly democratic and secular India should be nurtured without any prejudice in the young minds who will shape the future of the country.
At Sri Shakthi International School, We believe each child has a Desired Destiny that can be achieved only through a strong foundational Education. We believe that Education is a process of training the mind to think. We believe Education is the process of channelising the natural talent of each child into a lifelong skill set. After Sri Shakthi, If a child is able to say what (objective) they would like to become, why (mission) they would like to become that, how they visualise (vision) key milestones, and through which initiatives they achieve their goal, then we would consider that our job is well done.
