Our History

We established our first automobile dealership firm, DheepSeela Motors, in north Coimbatore for the Japanese based Kinetic Honda Scooters, which was India’s first two-stroke automatic scooter and was very popular among the scooter buying lot. 

DheepSeela Motors was leading South India in-terms of Annual Sales and earned the “Best Dealership Firm” award from Kinetic Honda Scooters Pvt. Ltd. Our Chairman Dr.S.Thangavelu & Family rewarded with a trip to Australia.

We established our third automobile dealership firm, DheepaLaxmi Motors in Coimbatore for the Italy based Piaggio Ape’ 3-Wheeler vehicles. Ape is still the champion of short range mobility: the most compact, economical and efficient commercial vehicle around - both in and out of the city.

DheepaLaxmi Motors is awarded the “Best Dealership Firm” in Rest-of-Tamilnadu by Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited for consistently achieving the National Level target in the Commercial and Passenger vehicle segment. Branches of the firm were established in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Pollachi and Udumalpet.

We established our first educational enterprise in the Higher Education domain, Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology with 4 Engineering Departments and 240 students.

Sri Shakthi family takes over Nikita International School of Studies and coins it “Sri Shakthi International School” under the aegis of CBSE.

Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology with a strength of 3000+ students is conferred with the Autonomous status by the United Grants Commission with the affiliation from Anna University. This is a status of privilege conferred to a private engineering college after 10 years of strong track record in student outcomes such as Job Placements and other metrics such as Faculty Research.

Sri Shakthi family establishes “Sri Shakthi Food Testing Laboratory” under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
