We are a society for the promotion of and appreciation for the beauty of mathematics. In terms of activities, we typically have games and presentations from teachers and students, but there's plenty of variety beyond that. Math Club allows the students to expand their math skills by playing interactive games which enhances the mathematical abilities of the students in an enjoyable and energetic setting.
Origami is associated with Japanese culture which means “Folding Paper”. The aim of the Origami is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques without the use of cuts, glue, or marking on the paper. The activity will be fun and develops the creativity of the students.
Tangram is a dissection puzzle which consists of seven flat shapes, called tans, which are put together to form shapes. The objective of the tangram puzzle is to form a specific shape using all seven pieces, which may not overlap. We are providing this activity to enhance the thinking power of our students.
The mathematical table is used to define a multiplication operation for an algebraic system.
